About FBTools


FBTools is a cross-platform OpenOffice.org/LibreOffice extension used to create and prepare for publishing books in FictionBook format. 

The program can be used on many platforms and it works with all source formats supported by OpenOffice.org. As the program includes a lot of additional tools for editing the original text, it may be useful also as a text converter into many other formats, for example - ePub. 

The main features of FBTools are as follows:

  1. You can specify and export all necessary book informations as:
    • Title info
    • Publishing info
    • Document info
    • Annotation
    • History of document
    and more;
  2. Export the full structure of document to fb2;
  3. Export the internal and external links into fb2;
  4. Styles of paragraphs, annotation, epigraphs, etc. are available;
  5. Pictures are supported;
  6. Basic support for tables is available.
